Golden Valley Educational Trust (GVET) was started in the year 1974 and nurtured by Founder & President Emeritus Late Dr. T. Thimmaiah Ph.D. (London), IAS (Retd.) In 2014 Dr. T. Venkat Vardhan, the founder of DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt Ltd became the President of the Trust. The trust is running various institutions such as Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology, KGF Pre University College, KGF First Grade College and Sri. Kengal Hanumanthaiah Law College. The sole purpose of the management is to impart quality higher education to one and all.

Dr. T Venkat Vardhan, Founder & Mentor of DNA Networks Pvt Ltd, is committed to contributing to the society. DNA Entertainment Networks, through the Golden Valley Education Trust, offers scholarships to meritorious and underprivileged students to complete their higher education as part of its CSR initiatives. For the academic year 2016-17, free mid-day meals were provided for all students in the Pre-University Course & First Grade College of Golden Valley Education Trust. In continuation to help the needy students, DNA Entertainment Networks has extended to issue the scholarships and hostel fees subsidy for the year 2017-18.
